Taxidermy is a cool hobby, in my opinion.

This world is just full of ignorant bigots.

Honestly some people shouldn't be on the internet, especially if they're just gonna be around to start drama with others.

It sounds like they're the ones being stupid, if they aren't gonna listen to the people who actually know how taxidermy works.
Most people who make them use animals that either died from natural causes, or were found as roadkill... or otherwise were legally obtained.

Here's what happened: Someone was selling a coyote pelt. This person comes and bombards the person (alot of other people were against it too but this person was special.
They called us stupid.
Someone told them that pelts are common used for people who live out in the woods.
And you won't heckin' believe what the said "UHM??? Amazon prime is a thing, you can get a good blanket for like $20"

LIKE U G H
I told them that they don't have amazon damn prime in the woods.
(Which they told me they did)

Oh my god, why are people so stupid

If you're living out in the woods, you likely won't have internet ?? which means you can't use Amazon (let alone any online shopping site) period????

Even if you did have phone service or something, I highly doubt you'll be able to get something shipped to your home xD

Exactly, Literally I know a town (My family owns land up there) and they literally don't have service, internet or even a hospital.
They only have one store in the whole town.
(Which sells furs and I even told the person 'bet that pushes your buttons')

These people need to get off their high horse and realize that not every place in the world can afford some of these commodities like other places can.

Importing goods in from elsewhere is expensive, and would force the store to increase their prices to be able to afford it. Which in turn may become an issue if the town's economy isn't high enough.
Therefore, they stick with what they can get (which would be furs) so that living there is still affordable.

I've lived in a small town where buying things at the local stores is super expensive, so we'd drive to the nearest Walmart (which was about two hours away) so we could get more for a better price.
